Children's Programs

• Children in Worship: This is a program for children ages young 5 through 5th grade.  We will have two classrooms (5yrs-2nd grade, 3rd-5th grade) to start off with in the fall.  In this program the children learn the major stories of the Bible in a unique way through figures and the art of storytelling.  They are taught about the Church calendar, how to pray and worship God, as well as being given an opportunity to fellowship and have fun with their peers.  We are all very excited about this program.

Sonclub: Sonclub is continuing from last year with a few changes.  The basic structure of Sonclub will include a short Bible story/lesson followed by lots of time for fun, games, and laughter!  We hope that this program will allow our kids to remember that church can also be a place of laughter, not just learning

CAMP INFO:

Camp is a great place to have fun, connect with other Christians in community, experience God, and create memories that will last for a lifetime.  Whether it is singing at fire bowl, kayaking on a lake, learning archery, going to chapel, or star gazing—camp is the place to do it!  Here at UMC of the Dunes, we encourage every kid and youth to experience summer camp, not only because camp is loads of fun, but because it is also a chance to be transformed.  Please consider going to a summer camp this year—and bring a friend!
