Children in Worship is a time of worship for children ages three through 5th grade. Children are dismissed during the 10:30am worship service to go down to their rooms:
Garden (3’s-young 5’s)
Emmaus (K-2nd graders)
Hosanna (3rd-5th graders)
Children will have the opportunity to be Child of the Day, a very important position, giving them the responsibility of decorating the altar and assisting the storyteller. All of the children will participate in worship geared for their age group. They will listen to a Bible story presented with wooden figures and props, sing worship songs, pray, read scripture, and participate in Response time where they will work with materials to help them bring the story into their hearts.
Children in Garden and Emmaus will sing with Gay Cole and Jen Taylor, sharing their music with the congregation on the 3rd Sundays of each month during the school year.
When Children’s time of worship has ended, parents may meet their children in the Wiltse Center at 12:15pm.
